Gun Violence Prevention is a cause that’s close to my heart. I am committed to preventing any more gun violence on school grounds. As an educator and a mother, the possibility of a school shooting is inexcusable.

I am resentful when I sit through active shooter training. I am horrified to practice active shooter simulations. I am devastated when I hide my elementary students during a lock down drill.

We don’t have to live like this.
